Murf AI pricing looks simple, but the details decide whether you get value: monthly plans give you voice hours per month, yearly plans give you a yearly pool, and some of Murf’s best features are Business-only. I checked the official Murf pricing page and help center on 24 October 2026 and combined that with my own test of Murf Studio. Below is every plan, what it costs per hour of audio, the free plan limits and which plan to choose.

Monthly vs yearly Murf plans: hours and cost per hour
The yearly plans save about a third, and they also change how your hours work: yearly plans give you one pool of hours for the whole year, while monthly plans reset every month.

A yearly pool is handy if your work comes in bursts, such as a whole course recorded in one month. If you only need Murf for one project, a single month of Creator is cheaper overall than a year.
Murf free plan: what you can and can’t do
- 10 minutes of voice generation. In my test this was a one-time allowance, not a monthly one.
- Business features to try: the free plan lets you test the Business-level editor features.
- No downloads. When I tried to export, MP3, WAV and FLAC were all locked on the free plan.
- No commercial rights. You can’t use free-plan audio in published or paid work.
So the free plan is good for testing voices and the editor, but you’ll need Creator to get any audio out of Murf.
Creator vs Business: which features are Business-only?
This is the most important pricing detail. These features are listed only on Business and above:
- Emphasis and Variability (fine control over how a word or sentence is delivered)
- Say It My Way (record your own reading so the AI copies your delivery)
- PowerPoint integration
- Audio to text and Murf voices for Windows apps
- A business license instead of the standard commercial rights
Watch out: because the free plan lets you try Business features, it’s easy to fall in love with Emphasis or Say It My Way while testing and then find they’re missing on Creator. Check which controls you actually use before you pay.
Is Murf worth the price? My test results
I tested Murf Studio in October 2026 with my standard English script plus Hindi and Urdu lines. I gave it 4 out of 5, with 7.5/10 for voice quality. Hindi written in Devanagari sounded good, but Hindi typed in Roman letters came out badly, and Murf has no Urdu at all.
Murf’s strength is its editor and workflow features for presentations and training videos. If you need Urdu, or you want the most natural voices, other tools did better in my tests. Full details are in my Murf AI review.

Which Murf plan should you buy?
- Just testing: Free. Try the voices and editor, knowing you can’t download.
- Freelancers and YouTubers: Creator, yearly ($228). 24 hours of voice a year with commercial rights.
- One project only: Creator, monthly ($29) for one month, then cancel.
- Training teams and presentations: Business, for PowerPoint integration, Emphasis and Say It My Way.
- Urdu content: skip Murf. It has no Urdu voices.
Paying, cancelling and refunds
- Payment: Murf’s help center says it accepts cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and others) on all plans. PayPal isn’t supported on the website. Debit cards may be blocked for recurring payments by local banking rules, and in India debit cards aren’t accepted. Bank transfer is for Enterprise only.
- Auto-renewal: plans renew automatically. Murf’s terms say you can cancel any time before the renewal date to avoid the next charge, and you keep access until the period ends.
- Refunds: Murf’s terms say fees are generally non-refundable. A refund request is only possible within 24 hours of buying and if you’ve used less than 10 minutes of voice generation, by emailing Murf support.
Tip: because the refund window is only 24 hours, test everything on the free plan first, then buy.
