Every review on AI Tool Wise follows the same hands-on method, so you can trust the results and compare tools fairly. This page explains exactly how I test AI tools, how I score them, and how the site makes money.
Who tests the tools
I’m Shoaib, the editor of AI Tool Wise, and I run the site from Pakistan. I test every tool myself. Nobody else writes my verdicts, and no company sees a review before it is published.
Step 1: I use the tool myself
- I sign up for my own account, usually on the free plan, so I see what a new user sees.
- If a key feature is locked behind a paid plan, I say so in the review. If I pay for a plan to test it, I say that too.
- I take my own screenshots during the test. I don’t use the company’s marketing images to show results.
- Every review shows the test date, the plan and, where it matters, the model I used.
Step 2: the same tests for every tool
Using identical tests is what makes my comparisons fair. For AI voice tools, every tool gets the same scripts:
- English
- “Welcome to AI Tool Wise. Today we are testing how natural this voice sounds. Can it handle numbers like 2026 and $19.99? Let’s find out together.” This checks naturalness, plus how the voice reads a year and a price.
- Hindi
- The same short line written in Devanagari script
- Roman Hindi
- The same line typed in English letters, the way most people in India and Pakistan type on WhatsApp
- Urdu
- The same line in Urdu script
- Also checked
- Voice library, settings, downloading or exporting, the free plan’s real limits
Most reviews only test English. Testing Hindi, Roman Hindi and Urdu is how I find out which tools really work for South Asian creators. For AI meeting tools, I use the same short test call for every tool and compare the notes and summaries each one produces.
Step 3: I check facts on official pages
- Prices, plan limits and free-plan rules come from the tool’s own pricing page and help center, never from other blogs.
- I write the date I checked next to every price, because plans change often.
- Every review ends with a “Sources checked” list linking the official pages I used.
- If I can’t confirm something, I leave it out instead of guessing.
How I score tools
Every review shows two scores.
1. My test score
After testing, I give each tool an overall score out of 5. It is my judgement of the whole experience: output quality, language support, ease of use, how useful the free plan is, and value for money. For voice tools I also give a separate voice naturalness score out of 10, based on how human the voice sounded in my test.

2. AI Tool Wise score
One person’s test can miss things that only show up after months of use, like billing problems or slow support. So I also combine my test score with ratings from real users:

- User ratings come from G2 and Trustpilot, which both have hundreds of reviews for the tools I cover. I only use a platform if it has at least 50 reviews for that tool.
- Every review shows each rating, the number of reviews and the date I checked it, with links to the original pages.
- My own test still carries the most weight, because that is the part I can check myself.
- The star rating shown in Google search results is my own test score only, as Google’s rules require.

Updates and corrections
AI tools change fast. When a tool changes its plans or features, I update the review and its “checked on” dates. If you spot something that is out of date or wrong, please tell me and I will check it.
